The Company's original incorporation date was April 11, 1986 under the name of Samarkand Resources Inc. There were subsequent name changes since then. On June 11, 2021 the name was changed to Altaley Mining Corporation, and on March 20, 2023, the company was changed to its current name - Luca Mining Corporation.
